			<title>CANCELED -  Preview tour of the Tasman East / Capitol Light Rail Project</title>
			<description>Due to lack of interest, the VTA Light Rail Tour has been cancelled.
&lt;p&gt;Friday, June 11th from 2:00 - 3:30 pm.  
&lt;p&gt;San Jose Council Member Cindy Chavez invites you to a preview of the Tasman East/Capitol Light Rail Project.
&lt;p&gt;The tour begin at the Alum Rock Transit Center (located on Capitol Avenue just south of Alum Rock at Westboro Drive) and then board the light rail for a tour of several stations including the Great Mall / Main Station and the Alum Rock Station.  Belows is an itinerary with additional information regarding this tour. 			<title>VTA 2030 Plan Open Houses</title>
			<description>The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) is developing the countywide long-range transportation plan, Valley Transportation Plan 2030 (VTP 2030). This plan, updated every three years, is the foundation for the extensive array of transportation investments, services and programs that VTA and its partnering agencies will put into place over the future.
&lt;p&gt;Public Involvement and participation is vital to the VTP 2030 planning process. The input received will help the VTA Board of Directors prioritize the list of projects for VTP 2030. A series of Public Meetings have been scheduled throughout Santa Clara County to present projects under consideration and to gather public comments and input. They are scheduled for the following locations, dates and times:
